What's New?

An official patch has been released to improve network connectivity on CentOS 6 and CentOS 7 instances. For more information, see Fixing Network Connectivity Issues on CentOS 6 and CentOS 7 Instances.

  • You can now provision a DirectLink connection to another Outscale user through the creation of a private virtual interface in their account. Conversely, you can use the DirectLink connection of another Outscale user who has created a private virtual interface in your account. For more information, see Creating a Hosted Private Virtual Interface and Accepting a Hosted Private Virtual Interface.

  • You can now launch new types of instances equipped with the v5 "Skylake" Intel processor: tinav5.cXrY type for custom instances, or m5 and c5 types for preconfigured instances. For more information, see Instance Types.

  • A glossary of item lines on Outscale invoices is now available. For more information, see Billing Glossary

  • User data tags enable you to manage the placement of your instances and the IP addresses associated with them. For more information, see User Data Tags Reference

  • You can now reserve instances in an Availability Zone to avoid insufficient capacity, and to get a discount. For more information, see Working with Reserved Instances and Getting the Price of Your Instances.

  • Two new features are now available on Cockpit:

2.4.33

  • New methods to use a DirectLink connection with different accounts are now available. The AllocatePrivateVirtualInterface method enables you to provision a DirectLink connection to another Outscale user through the creation of a private virtual interface in their account. Conversely, the ConfirmPrivateVirtualInterface method enables you to use the DirectLink connection of another Outscale user who has created a private virtual interface in your account. For more information, see AllocatePrivateVirtualInterface and ConfirmPrivateVirtualInterface.

2.4.32

2.4.31

  • In the AssociateAddress method, the AllowReassociation attribute is now by default true in the public Cloud, and by default false in a VPC. For more information, see AssociateAddress.
